Financial Future

I intend to make monies. Different ways I can do that:

Job (heh)
Projects (small business things with low initial investment and high
return if they work right, if they don’t I haven’t lost much
financially).
Investing: Bonds (prolly through bond funds, if they’re low cost
enough), index funds and individual stocks (picked by value investing
principles).

I like to think of myself as a business, financially speaking. I have expenses and I have revenue (not really). My education is an investment I am making for the future that will yield a high return (I’m hoping). Taxes are a major expense.

here is a decent growth calculator:

at 10%, over 10 years saving 10 grand a year I’d be sitting on over 200,000.

^ better more complicated thingy.
