Seriously thuogh, it went alright. I didn’t get zero laughs, but they were random, sporadic laughs. I wasn’t unfunny. I was, however, the least funniest guy there so…
Still, going up against pros and experienced amateurs, I feel good for having done it. I need to get some anecdotes and stories rather than punchlines and one liners. I’ve got lots of those.
In retrospect, maybe I gave up too easily. Maybe they woulda gotten into my mode of comedy later on in the act. I just gave up about halfway through. I’m just gonna say that it wasn’t my crowd (until I’ve been booed off every stage in the world :p ).
